Yankee Dan, What A Guy!

Howdy to all my friends out there in BuckarooLand!

I got in trouble with Suzie Q yesterday because she said I was listening to Yankee Dan again when I shouldn’t have. He sold me a green rock for $1. He said it was Kryptonite. At first, I didn’t believe him that it was real Kryptonite. I told him to prove to me that it was real. He asked me, “Do you feel light-headed and powerless right now.” I told him I didn’t. And he said, “Well, you would if you were Superman.”

What a guy!

Then Yankee Dan said he told his teacher that it will be his birthday this Friday. Suzie Q got mad and said, “That’s not true, Yankee Dan. Your birthday was last summer. You’re just trying get a party with balloons and games and cake and… and… uh. What time is the party?” And Yankee Dan said, “2:00 on Friday.” And she said, “I’ll be there.”

Anyway, our next show is going to be about how Yankee Dan needs to stop doing all the bad things he does.”

Suzie Q and I have been busy this morning--watching Dr. Nelson look for his glasses. After a while, he found that he had been wearing them all along. He asked us why we didn't tell him they were there on his head. Suzie Q said, “Dr. Nelson, we didn’t tell you because there was nothing good on TV and we were enjoying ourselves watching you look all over the place!”

Anyway, always remember to give your grandma and grandpa a big huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuug!
